Mash Season 1

Welcome to the 4077!

Korea, 1950. They were a MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit stationed three miles from the front. Incoming helicopters full of wounded brought the horrors of war to them daily and sometimes bullets flew right outside the operating room door. Hilarity and hijinks were all that kept them sane. Now journey back to that special place where friendships were forged, laughter was found and drinks were served.

This three disc collection includes all 24 episodes from Season One of M*A*S*H!

"The show's brilliant integration of drama and comedy made it one of the most celebrated shows in TV history..."  Britt Gillette, The DVD Report
"...devastatingly clever and often very poignant...still as sharp as their scalpels."  David Johnson, DVD Verdict
"...an excellent and successful television series...a must-own."  Raphael Pour-Hashemi, DVD Times
"Few movie-to-television adaptations even come close to the widespread popularity of the M*A*S*H spin-off."  Scott Weinberg, Apollo Movie Guide
"One of the best-loved television shows ever..."  Stefan Hedmark, The Movie Hamlet

Editor's Note

The television comedy M*A*S*H debuted in 1972. In the process of becoming one of the most successful and beloved programs in TV history, it completely reinvented situation comedies. Based on Robert Altman's hit film, the sitcom ran for an astonishing 11 years. This three-disc set features the first 24 episodes of the historic program and is the complete collection of the legendary first season. Episodes include "Chief Surgeon Who?" "The Ringbanger" with Leslie Nielsen, and, perhaps the most groundbreaking episode, "The Moose." The line between comedy and drama has never been so delicately tread upon as in the series of the 4077th military medical hospital.
