After the collapse of organized sports, the world turned to watch a little-known game called Futuresport. Now Futuresport has become a worldwide phenomenon and Tre is the sport's greatest player. On the brink of an all out war, Tre Ramsey (Dean Cain) must fight with all his powers to save himself, his team, and the fate of his country from certain destruction. However, when terrorists threaten to asassinate Tre and his former girlfriend, world-renowned reporter Alejanda "Alex" Torres (Vanessa L. Williams), Tre seeks out his mentor Orbike Fixx (Wesley Snipes) to elude the terrorists and settle the score. As the acknowledged creator of Futuresport, Fixx suggests that the current political strife should be settled the way rival gangs used to decide turf wars--by battling to the death in the Futuresport arena.
