One man's twisted dream of happiness becomes a woman's worst nightmare in this high-wire psychological thriller starring Gina Gershon (Bound), Sean Patrick Flanery (Powder, Suicide Kings) and Michael Biehn (The Rock, The Art of War). Gershon is Dr. Lila Colletti, a dedicated psychiatrist who helps dangerous criminals find their way back into society. But when Lila's estranged husband is mysteriously murdered, one of her patients crosses the borderline between fact and fantasy. Now, he'll do anything to win Lila's love. And he won't take no for an answer.
Editor's Note
Dr. Lila Colletti (Gina Gershon) is a prison psychiatrist and mother who is involved in a messy divorce. She is severely distraught when her husband gets custody of their two children due to the rigors of her job. When Baikman (Sean Patrick Flannery), one of her patients who has recently been released to a halfway house, catches word of her predicament, he decides to kill her husband with the intention of telling the authorities that he and Lila are lovers and that they planned the murder together. His story is so convincing that even Lila's police detective lover (Michael Biehn) begins to believe it. BORDERLINE is a well-acted neo-noir with solid turns from Gershon and Flannery.
